This is Step 1 or the thin end of the wedge. Once they get permission to monitor everyone's phones don't expect them to give up that power. They will continuously monitor your phones for ever and add that data to what they already have from your phone's GPS, Google searches, social media posts, conversations picked up by Siri/Alexa etc and any WiFi doorbells/CCTV or similar.
