All parents need to write letters, and go to school board meetings. Feel free to copy and use this as a draft. Or write and post your own. We have to band together and stop this madness.
Good afternoon,
My wife and I recently reviewed the letter that was sent out today titled, (omitted for privacy) president's August Letter. We are very disappointed and saddened that a Private Christian School would not take a different stance than any other public school regarding mandating masks. We now see that it is no different than any other school system cowering in fear.
We are the parents of three children that were scheduled to attend RCS in the upcoming school year. We moved our three kids from (omitted for privacy) in April of last year as a hopeful escape from the insanity that has become our school system. We held our tongue and personal beliefs and let the mask mandate play out for the remainder of the year. Now we are going into a new school year, and we cannot be silenced any longer.
As Christians, are we not called to stand up and be courageous, to put our trust in God? Have we not seen enough of this manipulation and slaying of our rights? These rights were given to us by God, not by the state. Our children are being used as political pawns in a game that doesn’t have an end or a set of rules.
We should be the ones in the Christian community to stand up now. As a private, non-state funded school, it appears that (omitted for privacy) is choosing to cower to the state and be a part of the political game. With your current actions, (omitted for privacy) is choosing to take the rights of our children away, including the ability to breath fresh air, learn without distractions and have a normal school year.
We are appalled at your decision and to see your leadership fall right in line with every other organization, instead of providing a refuge of normalcy for our children.
Will the leadership of (omitted for privacy) mandate the experimental DNA altering shots to attend school? We chose to come to a private organization knowing that things could be different, but alas we have been proven wrong by this letter.
We expected that a Christian organization would be different, especially one that does not take funding from the state and parents pay high tuition for. There is something happening within the church right now and we have not found that anyone has the moral conscience to stand up for our children.
We would have loved to voice our opinion at a board meeting, but it is hard to do that when the next meeting is scheduled for (omitted). It seems very strategic that with one of the biggest issues on parents’ minds concerning their children’s education and the next meeting falls after the first tuition payment is due for most. Shouldn’t this call for an emergency board meeting? Do parents' voices and opinions matter to the school and school board?
At the end of this entire ordeal, (and there may be no end) you will be held accountable as to what decisions you made concerning our children. Did you stand up and push back for our children's rights? Or did you cower in fear at the almighty state? As a private organization that claims to be different, the decision should be clear.
Considering that the CDC recommended and did not mandate masks, this leaves the decision up to the school to make the final decision. As educators, we are sure you are aware that the definition of a recommendation is “to suggest an act or course of action”. Have you ever received a recommendation to do something that was awful, or you didn’t agree with? A recommendation does not have to be followed, especially by a private organization, funded by tuition, donations and fundraising.
Since the school uses the CDC guidelines to determine guidance for the school, does it also consider the emotional and physical harm masks cause? All our children have had negative effects from this, and we cannot subject them to “another year of torture”, as stated from one of my children.
We truly hope that parents will use their voices to advocate for all the children at (omitted) and you will take time to reconsider the mask policy for the upcoming school year.
Thank you,
Great letter and clearly stated. Let us know if they respond.
I did receive a response. It was 1 sentence.
" I am available to meet at your earliest convenience to discuss each allegation and inference related to your email. "
We responded by asking for an open Board meeting so they can hear not only our concerns but also the concerns if other parents. ...
It's a good letter. Telling then your reasons is important, as is calling out the inherent cowardice of their decision. Staying silent is no good, and you're doing the needed pushback. Hopefully other parents will join in.
You raise a lot of good points, but be aware that it's missing a call to action, an actual request for them to do something. For example, you never say "change your mask policy; if you don't, our 3 kids will leave." While it's clear you want them to change, the letter doesn't actually ask them to.
Trying to be helpful, in case you have more communication with the school or with other parents. It's good to tell them how you feel. They'll definitely get the idea. But don't be so polite that you shy away from asking for what you want.
Thanks for taking the time to weigh in ! We did receive a response. ,
" I am available to meet at your earliest convenience to discuss each allegation and inference related to your email. "
We then asked for an open forum board meeting for all parents of the school to get a chance to speak in an open forum. We are new to the school and we don't know an other parents to band together with. I am working on that part. I have not gotten a response to our request from the school yet. We are currently weighing our options of what we are to do next. We have a meeting with a POD teacher next week and we are praying for guidance and wisdom.
Awesome! It's good they care enough to set up a meeting. You have time, so use it to distill your message so it doesn't get lost or sidetracked. And get a short selection of Bible verses handy: in the end, fear has no cure but faith. If their school doesn't have faith and live faith, well ... you already know the answer. Prayer will lead you right.
Your view of this whole situation is wrong. Insulting my post is boring to me. And to live in your mindset is nothing I will entertain
You need to understand that there are good people I'm this world. Not all people hate Jesus christ. Our experience switching from public to private was amazing. Minus this mask nonsense. My kids have excelled in learning without common core, grown in faith and had a semi jump back to normalcy. I do not believe they Hate Jesus Christ as you have put it. I love constructive criticism as I listen and try to apply in all walks of my life. Maybe your approach is one that needs some tuning. This post was to encourage other parents to jump into action, and to provide a blueprint letter to those who need one. wish you nothing but the best.
Homeschool, then. Make your own stand and sacrifice to do what is right. Paying high tuition gave you an expectation of quality and moral rectitude, but obviously throwing money at (omitted) doesn't buy what you want.
Well done anon. Your children are blessed to have you as a parent. Keep fighting the good fight. 👍
Thank you. It has onky begun

You are educators? Consider rephrasing. "We are sure that you, as educators, are aware..."
Copied these links from a similar post from "whataboutbob". The clinical studies are important to send to them for review. Even more important to send to the other parents. There must be a parent organization or newsletter. If after reviewing the evidence, they still insist on requiring masks, I would be highly skeptical about their ability to teach your children critical thinking skills and would locate alternate means of educating your children. If you cannot find another school, ask yourself what are you willing to do to ensure the successful future of your children. I do not have children, but I am confident that I could find the resources, as many have pointed out, to home school your children.

This is good but it may be helpful in the future to offer the actual 'science,' since they seem to want to follow that. Give them the 97 studies done over the past 50 years that prove masks do not good and actually cause harm. Show them how oxygen intake is impaired, show them the falsehoods stated by tptb regarding the 'safety' of the so called 'vaccines' that aren't vaccines at all. SHOW THEM and see what they have to say about these 'allegations.'

I would locate as many clinical trials as you can and include the evidence of suppressing these articles in American medicinal journals and publications. There are also videos of Fauci saying that they are useless and potentially harmful. Get prepared like you were going to trial and prepare to lay out your case with little emotion and hysteria. Convincing educators with facts should be an easy ordeal. If it is not and they fail to see the facts and reason of your argument, perhaps leaving your children in their hands to teach then critical thinking skills is a mistake.
Excellent, thanks. And I had a good chuckle about 'easy ordeal.' :D
