true, but most of them have aadhar cards (similar to SSN) now. Whoever I spoke to here, it's the trust factor that is keeping them away from jabs. They do not trust hospitals or govt at this point.
I live in rural area it's almost impossible to get aadhar card right now, you have either travel more than one hour or cross the river and also travel.
Aadhar card was given en masse and it came out after 6 months or so they closed all the enrolling points and its very difficult to find those in rural areas.
Usually those with bank accounts have, but women and children?
Still as you said, there is a lot of distrust from previous experiences
they are the safe crowd, in my opinion, most of the statistics is based on the Voter ID list and/or aadhar card list. If you are not on any list, then they will not track you or hunt you down, when this becomes mandatory.
I don't think they will make it mandatory in India, they are a wild bunch when they want. Also remember that lots of Hindus would get religious exemption due all the meat crap in the vaccine
To be fair, even if Covid tests existed, much of India wouldn’t have the infrastructure to actually test people. Numbers are obviously bullshit, but if people were actually dying in high numbers in India, we wouldn’t have the real data.
According to the covid tracker I've been using India is 20% vaxxed, is reporting 18 cases per 100,000 people per week, and is TOTALING 400 deaths per day. The number of cases and deaths are decreasing daily (downward trend).
USA on the other hand 54% fully vaxxed, 296 cases per 100,000 per week, and it looks like nearing 1,000 deaths TOTAL per day. The cases and deaths are increasing daily (upward trend).
I like this tracker because it's updated daily. You can scroll to the bottom and there is a list of countries around the world that you can click on to compare data.
India has Ivermectin and HCQ.
Yep. They dropped from 400,000 cases per day to 40,000 very quickly.
