Painting with a very broad brush there! Kind of ignorant in my opinion. Several sheriff have stood up for our rights. Are you putting them in the same basket? I very much doubt you! Some yes.

The tiny amount of Sheriffs you hear about saying tough things when they don't have the full weight of the federal government, national guard, local governments, state police and city police breathing down their shirts are only a fraction of the law enforcement departments that exist.
There are over 3,000 counties in the US, and only maybe 50 of them have had tough talking Sheriffs when they haven't had to draw their weapons instead of jack their jaws.
Now when the time comes to skin those smokewagons instead of look electable, I would bet money that only half of those 50 will draw down. When they need to load weapons and say, "This county over my dead body", that number will shrink so small they could all dance on the tip of a pencil.
The entire world is absolutely filled with examples of law enforcement officers who did whatever their governments told them to do with specific examples (Boston Bombing) even in our own country. I will never understand the rose colored glasses Americans have with their law enforcement. Must be watching too much Andy Griffith.

don't doubt you at all, alot of politicians could right now be arrested for violating the law, the highest law in the land. The Constitution, and yet I have not seen a single sheriff or LE branch in the country do any such thing.

We need our autistic Pede's to start a database of AU...RCMP...London Metropolitan...Berlin ...Paris Police department personnel. Maybe one for Medical personnel as well.
