Why would you want to hide anything in your ass tho? They just stick their hand up your ass and look around for whatever you're hiding in there. Crypto can be hidden in your brain, and it doesn't even has to be a key/phrase, it can be a location where you know that you can find that key, i.e a page and line in a book (all you need is a copy of that book) or similar.
No internet = no crypto. I'm collecting precious metals (silver, gold & platinum). Still haven't been able to score any Palladium (nobody has any available in small enough weights to be affordable).
In the event of a global outage, you'd need food and guns more than any form of medium of exchange. The day something happens to the digital infrastructure that renders crypto unusable will be the day SHTF so bad that not even silver or gold makes any sense.
Agree - I was merely replying to the "which is the better investment?" question that was posed. I've been stockpiling non-perishable food & ammo for quite a while and also got another pew-pew too. :-)
Absolutely both. Silver is the safer play no doubt and has more uses in general. I would go 80% silver to 20% cryptos. Stay out of altcoins and stay within the big three.
Cardano (ADA) and Cosmos (ATOM), these can be staked and generate a passive income in form of 5% - 9% yearly interest for you. Perfect if you'd ever get fired for refusing the jab and have trouble finding a new job. It'll allow you to survive.
Physical SILVER....take possession of your investment....if SHTF at least you will have something of value that you can exchange for necessary items. NO COMPUTER needed.
I don't know anything about crypto, I do have fair bit of Silver. How can you access crypto if the internet is gone, as it will be when SHTF. I can get to my silver easily for purchasing goods after SHTF, No internet no access to crypto. Am I right?
Silver.
For what purpose? If shit hits the fan, do you think you will be able to get on-line and access your crypto?
As for an investment where shit does not hit the fan, I think crypto has a much bigger upside.
Both.
I'm still not sure crypto is a good alternative for me. I prefer something physical.
Started stacking silver and will continue to do so. The artificial devalued price and reducing supply drove me to silver.
silver stacking is super fun
You can't hide crypto safely up your ass in the event of an emergency. The answer is clear.
Bananas 🍌?

Big three? BitCoin, Ethereum and ?
Litecoin. All are stable enough. Personally would split between eth and btc

Silver, it's on sale right now,jm bullion or sd bullion are a couple of the best.

Edit: OK,I commented B4 reading comments. Everything answered. Thank You.
You can’t trade your neighbor crypto for vegetables from their garden.
Actually you can, just not a simply as handing them some pieces of metal.
Of course you can. Not if the internet goes down, but payment from Coinbase wallet to wallet is free.
Diversity is best. I have more silver however but am looking into hardware wallets to buy more crypto. Novice here when it comes to crypto...
Same here !
I have 200 silvers and 350 ounces of Bitcoin
