People's hair color changes as we get older, so why can't our eye color? I haven't researched this, but I don't see it as an impossibility.

Eye color is determined by genes at birth or around there. Those don't typically change.

They can darken or dull. I have something called pigmentary keratouveitis (I have no idea if in spelling that right). My eyes went from blue to brown progressively. I have to be under surveillance for glaucoma.
