I think you give Hollywood too much credit.
Most of what they are producing is garbage.
Whenever they do try to promote some "message", they end up falling on their face and the movie fails. People get sick and tired of the 'agenda', so everyone just tunes it out.
The best, most innovative movies these days are NOT coming from Hollywood. The best stories are not coming from Hollywood.
Ever seen the Jennifer Lawrence film "Mother!" ? That movie is completely satanic. I watched it a few years back (when I was still asleep). That movie is fucking sick and twisted satanism. Biblical-mockery hell.

Jupiter Ascending is as blatant as The Matrix series, perhaps no surprise since the Wachowski sibs wrote and directed both. (No, lets not get into the WTH, Wachowski brothers, sisters, whatever topic).
I don't think this is "Hollywood telling us what it plans to do" but rather the Wachowskis showing us what they SEE the cabal doing already.
Jupiter Ascending has the hyper-elite "harvesting" the populations of entire planets to extract a life- and youth-extending drug. They own and control almost everything of importance and are . . . well, a lot like the elites we're dealing with here and now.
The film didn't do well at the box office or with most critics. The special effects are eye-catching but the very best and most impactful effect, to me, was the clear difference between the psychopathic elite and the decent "normal" characters. The story REALLY highlights the importance of love and connection among emotionally healthy people.

I was thinking about the newer Mad Max, and how the guys would huff something... I believe it was called chrome.... and the wierd baby killing scene. I should rewatch it because I think it was filled with that garbage.
They were huffing silver spray paint before a kamikaze attack.
By the way they weren't trying to kill the baby in that scene, they were performing an emergency cesarian on the mother who had just died but it was too late for the baby.

Dune is a great novel. I didn't like the rest of the series, but the first novel is a classic.
The movie Dune SUCKED!!! It was one of the poorest made movies I've ever had the displeasure of watching. It stunk.

Like I said, its been too long since I've seen it, and I found it blatantly evil so I haven't watched it since, but wasn't the paint called chrome?
