If you are close to Texas - H-E-B actually hired out the main chemists from Frito Lay and gave them carte blanche to create better Fritos using premium ingredients ( better salt / oil / corn ). The H-E-B brand chips are a much higher standard that anything else on market in the United States and cheaper.
H-E-B also took about 8 years to perfect their Chee-toh knock off called Big Time Crunch. I suggest never trying them. They have to be like gobbed up w Monosodium Glutamate because the things are insanely good. They make normal Cheetohs taste like cardboard.
