Huh, considering remington filed for bankruptcy last year and the actual firearms portion of the business (sans Marlin) was bought by a random no name company that outbid Ruger, Smith and Wesson, and Winchester for the Arms part of the business. I can't help but wonder if this is a white hat move.
Chapter 11 bankruptcy. That means the company continues on, while restructuring debt.
Chapter 7 is the one where the company closes operations.
Interesting that somebody new is in charge of the company, and therefore in charge of the direction of this lawsuit. I wonder if the plaintiff knew that before or after filing the lawsuit.
If the lawsuit was filed before the BK, that would be a VERY interesting counter-move.
Nope, Original remington is gone. The parent company, something like cerberus holdings, filed for chapter 7. Hence why remington was parted out in an auction. I know ruger got Marlin out of that. I don't remember who got the ammo part, and I'm really not sure who got Dakota Arms. I think it might be the same shady, apparently Canadian, person who bought the rights to remington firearms. If you try to go to the website it tells you as much by explaining that remington arms and ammo and now two seperate companies. Likewise Marlin's website is basically a bunch of placeholders that explains Ruger bought them at the Remington auction and are setting up tooling in their plants and won't honor any non ruger made Marlin warranties, but directs you to where you can get your remington Marlin warranties honored.
EDIT: Looked it up in some more detail. Apparently Vista Outdoors bought the Ammo Brand, and every firearms related subsidiary except marlin was bought by the same shady company. Including Dakota Arms and Bushmaster. The only firearms portion of the company that got bought by someone else is Marlin, which Ruger bought.

Here’s info on the guy that bought it. Richmond Italia… a Canadian paintball entrepreneur. Lol

Which makes this even more interesting. Why would a canadian paintball entrepreneur buy remington and then start subpoenaing over sandy hook victims?
Hmm. I hope not another circle jerk to make us seem insensitive to the normies.
Maybe he has sources from the 5 eyes and knows the real truth
No joke!
