Saving is useless because of the low interest rate and high inflation.
Pay off credit after getting plenty of supplies. Credit cards are unsecured, so if you died suddenly, they'd be gone. At least that's how it goes in NC. When my mother died, the credit card companies got nothing. Of course they tried, even using collection agencies, but they didn't get a penny.
Learn to tell the difference between things you need and things you want.
My old laptop computer is dying (motherboard) so instead of spending $2000 on a new computer with the larger hard drive that I need, I bought a used computer and put a large hard drive into it for $400.
Did I want a new shiny faster computer? Sure I did but I didn’t need it.
a great water filter ($30 sawyer, or a $300 berkey if you can afford it)
a gun and ammo, then learn to use it
find a good book on first aid, military has some that are pretty good...
figure out how to poop / shower / etc without water and power...
a "solar generator" will keep your tv / radio / phone working for quite a while
a small inverter generator for less than $1,000 is VERY good on gas and will keep your fridge working and you can keep a gas furnace working with it... (not an AC tho)
a gas grill is nice to have, but an instant pot with the little generator is awesome for limited power situations
but most importantly, LEARN A SKILL YOU CAN TRADE FOR THINGS YOU NEED.
Money could become devalued/worthless. If that happens, 1 is pointless and 3 would be easier to do.
In a survival situation, the less you have to risk going out for supplies, the better.
Prepare
If hyperinflation is coming it makes no sense paying off your credit cards.
Why have a car anyway when gas will hit 20 bucks a gallon in no time ?
#1. Preparing
#2. Debt free
#3. Saving [I feel, for the most part - saving are headed for a wipe-out].
#2 by far and away.
Prepping is my main focus fir sure right now
Definitely #2. Wait for hyperinflation to pay off #3. As per #1, only if it is in the form of precious metals
Preparing is #1.

Unless we do something, many children are going to die or suffer serious injury.
Debt maxing? Lol
Ammunition
Paper money will be more usefull for starting fires if it continues like this for a couple months more. Get rid of debts and prepare.
Maybe a little punt on GME?
Don't go overboard with prepping, but ::
Get a 50 lb bag of pinto beans,
