Doctors have always been able to prescribe medicine as they see fit. Off label use or whatever it's called was fine. Trump got authorization to use drugs under trial for those in desperate need. How can anyone believe that this is not a nefarious plan of some sort? I don't know what their end game is, but denying medications to those who want to prescribe and use them has never been done like this before.

It risks the immense profits of big pharma, and the money being channeled back as payola to the politicians, doctors and hospitals that ban its use. If it were used properly, the pandemic would be over in a couple weeks. I tried to get a script from a Frontline doctor filled at several pharmacies in my area (Walmart, CVS, Walgreens, and Costco) They all denied filling the script for COVID treatment.

I had to go to a smaller online pharmaceutical source instead. They have already shipped it.
