Funny story, I saw the hard tack episode that he did and I wanted to try it myself. OH MY LORD! It is practically inedible because of how hard it is! I ended up throwing the batch I made away because I feared breaking my teeth on it.

Made hard tack for a homeschool class once. It's truly a last resort food.
