Good point. There are people out there (I know 'em) that really aren't necessarily Democrat loyalists, but are truly under the spell that Trump was so evil that he was bad for both parties and had to be removed at any cost... I really think many of them internally excuse the voter fraud because they genuinely believed it had to be done.
People need to know Trump wasn't a one-off that was pulled in a desperate attempt to save America. People need to know their votes really haven't mattered for decades, and on many levels of government, not just the Presidential race of 2020.
Ask your co-worker how many future Democrat presidents get to have their authority subverted just because conservatives in the chain decide it's best for the country.
Also tell him his theory was proven 100% wrong 9 months ago when Trump left office without ever firing a nuke.
Milley took a shot at the king and missed. Dems can't cry about the consequences now.
While this is logical, I've come to accept that some are beyond logic.
"I'm not talking about logic and facts. I'm talking about my feelings!" -- Actual statement to me from a close family member.
I mean many of us would be no different. If a certain active General went out of the way to “protect” the country, as they would say, against Obama or Biden, many of us would cheer them on as going above and beyond for love of country. I wouldn’t be surprised if Milley gets promoted somehow through this “administration”.
Very few patriots would get a pass for that. We all k ow wiping out every liberal would make America stronger but we don't go do it. It would be criminal.

Correct. I'm in a heated battle with a coworker that perceives Gen. Milley as doing the right thing regarding China and the nuke threat.

Ask your family member "So is this a contest of whose feelings matter more?"

They are doing the same with the Milley case
Ask him how many aid workers and children Trump blew up in drone strikes? Aided by the help of the “professional, businesslike” Taliban? Ha!
