Great comment. I was a libtard, and I didn't even know that I was sliding into it. Watching Colbert and Samantha Bee all the time. Making stupid comments like oh, hey look, a tornado did 20 million in improvements down there in Alabama! I was becoming absolutely retarded just like them. If this Patriot is what's inside me, I can only imagine what's inside all the liberals waiting to wake up. YOU, awake, is most definitely what they fear.
What are we going to do with half the country when the hammer falls? Execute them? Enslave them? Keep them down trodden?
That is where we are at now. We have to get back to country where we disagreed but were still amicable to each other in the end, not this tribalism night we are living.
Most of the people who are being loud mouthed on the interwebs are very likely to abandon most of their non-sense if push comes to shove. Most of those folks are going along with it because it's trendy. Not a single one of them has ever had to defend their beliefs beyond their keyboard and when they wake up to the fact the internet isn't real life.
As for the ones who committed treason by participating in election fraud, they must swing from trees.
Nice comment and so true. I have some very dear friends that do not hold the same views as I do. But, that is okay because we can agree to disagree and still be cool with each other. Manipulation by others has caused normal folk to take personally what used to be simple disagreements or differences of opinion. It used to be, no harm, no foul. Surprisingly enough, many of my "liberals" friends and acquaintances do agree with me on the identification of many of the problems we all see occurring within our country. Where we often differ is on how to fix those problems. What I have noticed over the last year or so is that many of those same liberal friends of mine are beginning to see a different side to what is happening in the world that just a couple of years ago they would never have even considered. We do need to come together where we can. Americans have a history laying their differences aside when faced with a common threat. That day I do believe is coming. Many I think are realizing that it was not Covid that was the threat - but the people behind the promotion of it. Once that light bulb goes on, it is just a matter of time before the rest of the corners are illuminated as well.
Some people may not like it, but we need the left as much as they need us. Our disagreements are what keep this country free.
Ridding extremism is one thing, but it must be trimmed on both sides of the tree.

Not just awake, but your mind must be free. When you no longer require the approval or validation of others, then you truly become free.
Hmm. Colbert used to make fun of all sides.
Then he changed, as did his humor.
I can see liking oldbert.
To be fair, I think he's an incredibly talented and funny person. But... sad what he has become
I'm still on the fence about weather control. Maybe manipulation of some kind
Where I live we have an airplane that seeds the clouds to release hail before too much damage happens

Yarp.
Tribalism is one thing; whites aren't allowed to be tribal.
No, the violence we see and feel is not just tribalism.

I don't know that we need them.
However, building bridges and finding common ground can create a different dynamic and break the cycle.
Plus, not all of the BLM protestors participated in the destruction of billions and thousands of businesses.
We do. Our disagreement is what keeps our country free.
