I am aware of the rain making. I haven't read about making earthquakes... and yet I believe we have advanced a long way from just seeding clouds for rain. I suspect we can make full-on Hurricanes, Droughts, Earthquakes, and much more.

I'm pretty sure that the quake that hit the Fukushima nuclear plant was engineered. Think of all the people / children that went missing after hurricane Katrina...

I've read a couple comments about Nikola Teslas earthquake machine. Haven't looked into it much but supposedly he made a small machine that shook a bridge to near collapse.
He also claimed that he could build one large enough to split the earth in half. All it used was resonance, you determine the resonant frequency of an object and just keep slowly adding to it with each cycle.
The timing of the quake essentially diminished what would have been HUGE numbers attending the third day of protests. Let’s hopefully see mega crowds today!
