The problem is the communist mind rot has fucked too many minds and words don't have meaning anymore, resulting in everyone talking PAST each other.
When most people say flu they don't mean influenza. They are referring to any seasonal illness. Because of this, most people are completely oblivious to how bad influenza really is. It's super fucking shitty and on par with covid (for those that actually get sick)
So now we've got 2 groups of people thanks to our inability to communicate effectively.
The first group has no idea how bad the flu really is, so they're terrified of covid because they think it's something worse... and it is worse than the colds most people call "a flu"
The second group had no idea that influenza is real and sucks, so when they see that covid has numbers similar to influenza, they associate it with the colds they get every year and think covid is a total nothing burger.
A whole lot of misunderstandings would be fixed if people thought more than they felt. Influenza is extremely shitty and does kill a bunch of people. Your slightly shitty health for 3 days that you called "a flu" was a cold. Covid is on par with the flu, so all you old and fat folks do need to be keeping your health up. Influenza is no joke, covid is like influenza and NOT like your cold (that you call flu)
