Does anyone else remember how crazy Hollywood and MSM went about the Passion of the Christ, calling it an semantic movie?
Looking back, what do you believe the cause of their hatred towards this movie were?

I just watched this movie, except for the parts I had to cover my eyes. Heartbreaking. Can you imagine giving your son to face these tortures to forgive our sins? Profound.
The media hates the exposure that this happens when a hell-bent government, intent on protecting their wealth and power, let loose the ‘police’ force to carry out their desire.

This movie is perhaps the most accurate representation of Christ. Mel Gibson did a great job! I don't know how he did it so well it seemed like it came right out of the bible!
It's simple. Christ is the liberator, hence the attack on his gender, on the nuclear family and particularly on your personal relationship with God. I suppose the same reason they hate Christianity. Good vs Evil. The Passion was the pivotal moment in human history when Jesus (God) redeemed His creation from from a fallen world of sin. Hollywood loves sin!
