I’ve been in discussion today with another Catholic Church follower like this woman here, explaining not to give trust in man. Not to give faith in those priests. Thank them for their service, fine. Give thanks to the Lord for having those who can help teach the gospel to you. But those titles, lineage, ranks...are nothing. Give trust and faith to God. Follow Jesus. He is the only way. I think people forget, priest are the ones that crucified Jesus. I mean we all helped, because of our sins. But they actually begged for Jesus to be crucified. Man makes mistakes. It’s why we cannot trust our fellow man. Love them. Pray for them. But give your trust to the Father. And not some guy who titles himself “Father”. There is only one Father, and He is in Heaven. She fell victim of trusting man. Giving faith to her priest for guidance.
And also from the article. “God’s kingdom here on Earth”....God’s kingdom is not on Earth. It’s in Heaven.
I’m sorry Jessica. May God watch over your family in your absence. Let our mistakes be learned by our children to help guide them towards only trusting you Lord. Our Father in Heaven. Please Lord see her light shine before you. As she worships you O’Lord. Let her reside in your kingdom forever. Praising your name, above all names. In Jesus name, Amen.
Earth is also God’s kingdom. “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”
As for titles and lineage, Christ set up the church and instructed the apostles in administration of the sacraments. The bishops are appointed and ordained all the way back to the apostles as Christ instructed through sacred tradition. If your catholic friend doesn’t recognize apostolic succession, she is in error. It’s one thing to recognize that humans are flawed; it’s another to deny apostolic succession.
This gal was coerced. She did not trust her priest or bishop or pope with this information; she weighed the options and reluctantly realized that she was going to be prohibited from helping in her kids school so she caved under duress. If you don’t understand that then you don’t understand the term “coercion.”
Correct..she wasn’t forced. She chose. I will be forced. As they hold be down, against my will. She volunteered for the shot. And help them roll up her sleeve.
God reigns over His creations. But does this look like His kingdom yet? And is Jesus ruling over this world yet? He does in our hearts. But I’m pretty sure the second coming hasn’t happened yet. We are still in rescue mode. Here’s is a clip of a read exactly about this topic.
“God is king, and he reigns over his creation. But in a world marred by sin, God’s kingship is resisted, and the peace of his kingdom has been shattered. After Adam and Eve’s rebellion, God’s reign is revealed as redemptive. He’s the king who is reclaiming his creation. His kingdom is not the culmination of human potential and effort, but the intervention of his royal grace into a sinful and broken world.”
So to my comment earlier. I translate this read as the second coming as the actual Earth kingdom. We may be talking about different things?
And as for Catholics. And my friend. Oh they are very aware in that lineage. So much as to say any other form of Christianity teachings, such as the Baptist church I attend, is wasted(not their words). And not true to form. That only a person with anointed heritage can preach the gospel. Even my own baptism, they question. The one in the river. It wasn’t done the way to the Catholic Church, so therefore wasted(not their words). Although they forgot how Jesus was baptized. Was glad to remind them. That’s the problem, they get so caught up in anointing, lineage, we’re the real Christian’s, etc. In one sentence they are glad and happy about my relationship with Jesus, and then worry about my teachings. And I just say...in my teachings, I have one Father. I don’t place a man between me and God. And I don’t worship a church, covered in gold. I remind them that priests are the ones that crucified Jesus. I mean we all helped place Jesus there, by our sins..but they actually begged to have Him crucified. That man makes mistakes. We sin. The Bible is all you need. Faith and love is all you need. I could be shackled in a dark prison. Covered in barb wire. Deaf, blind, and mute...and still find my way to our Lord. I don’t need a titled man to deliver me. Whose lineage resides on a piece of paper. Who people think is closer to God than I am. Who any of us are. A thief, dying on the cross, recognized Jesus. Gave Him praise, and to eternity Heaven he went. Where was those Catholic teachings there?
There is only one path to Heaven. And it doesn’t reside in a building, a lineage, or titles. It’s only through Jesus Christ. To love God and worship is not to be confusing. It’s simple. But Satan has his ways to complicate things. And I don’t get caught up in man’s business.
Yeah, you can read the gospel and Paul’s letters to get a pretty good sense of how the Church runs. The Eucharist (the true Presence) doesn’t happen in any denomination that explicitly doesn’t believe it happens.
We celebrate the last supper at our church as well.
I feel many people in the Catholic Church seem to believe Peter is the way. They lean heavily on Peter. Peter is not the way. Only Jesus is. We love Peter. We thank him. There is no one between you and Jesus. If there is, it’s man. And Satan gains an advantage with man.
And the letters Jesus wrote to the seven churches, to me, sum up how churches should be ran. Props to Polycarp.
Edit. Also wanted to add, I didn’t downvote you brother.

Rest In Peace sister. 🙏❤️
Perhaps you forget how Jesus taught us to pray:
“On earth as it is in heaven.”
Earth is also God’s kingdom. “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it.”
