Great minds. :)
I was thinking to myself "That must be some big ass coin!"
Almost a third of the currency in circulation. A dollar become .60 overnight. The below is a bald faced lie...
Ron Paul had suggested this years ago when our national debt sat at like 3 trillion. After arguing that the FED needed to be audited, he went on to elaborate that this would be constitutional as the Congress was given the power to coin money (given to fed). He further stated Congress could direct the us mint to produce three coins made out of a rare metal and value them at one trillion dollars each. Each of those coins would then be given to the treasury and the treasury could pay off the debt. Obviously that never occurred because money printer went brrrrrrr
The facing side has a picture of the Resident.
Get yours for $49.95
Fucking INSANE
Isn't thus basically the same as printing a 1 trillion dollar bank note?
Yes, but not as pretty. :)
"... without any impact on inflation"? What does the fool think causes inflation? A trillion dollar increase in the money supply would cause terrible inflation.
