I bought a 1949 Webster's Deluxe Dictionary and Brief Encyclopedia for $17 at an antique store in town.
It has a massive section on WW1 and WW2.
I can confirm what you're saying. While it does mention poor treatment of the Jews by the NAZI party, there is no mention of the holocaust.
The holocaust's definition was just a Jewish ceremony.
You'd think 1949 would have been enough time (War ended in 1945) to mention the death of "6 million Jews" by starvation, gas and cremation.
I'm not saying there was no holocaust.
I'm saying that in 1949, your average American who owned a Webster's Deluxe Dictionary would say there was no holocaust.
I may get some screenshots to post if you guys are interested. I need to get a good camera though. The pages are brittle as hell and I don't wanna shove it on a scanner tray and risk damaging the book.
I think you would REALLY like a book titled, "The Hunt for Zero Point." It was written by a writer for Jane's Defense Weekly, so it's not some wackjob, and the stuff he uncovers about WWII programs is chilling.
Anons did that. Was no holocaust mentioned in early history books.

I want to see the receipt that says $17.
Phone's dead. 1 sec, I took a picture of it, but I need to get it off my phone. Where can I upload it?
I'll trust you, bro.

That was an interesting game for its time. There was a lot of neat info in it.
That's what I thought
