I think you would REALLY like a book titled, "The Hunt for Zero Point." It was written by a writer for Jane's Defense Weekly, so it's not some wackjob, and the stuff he uncovers about WWII programs is chilling.
Antique malls and flea markets. Day trip out of town if you are into that sort of thing. It is more effort than browsing the internet or library and it might be a fruitless venture. There is a lot of junk out there and you can spend hours browsing. I've only been a few times but I also like finding old arithmetic books even if I was weak on "math" in school. Disappointingly, I haven't found any old history schoolbooks but I will keep an eye out. Although I have come across Encyclopedia sets, the seller is typically far too proud of them.

He also had the German citizens walk by the massive grave. He wanted the Germans to be aware what had happened in the camps. Alfred H. Said the reason he did this was to have documentation of the camps. He did not want anyone saying that the camps were a hoax.
I have a similar conundrum. Years ago when Beck talked about Saul Alinski's book being dedicated to Lucifer, I checked it out at the bookstore where I worked and sure enough, it was there. Several months ago I went back thinking I should get a copy to document it and the dedication had changed!
You can get quite an education perusing congress.gov for the Congressional Record and going back the decades of our U.S. history there. Something something about it is not sposed to be altered or rewritten. And, it is like going to the source, which is a good thing?
Check homeschool sites and resources to find American History books from the past...as well as some current new ones that DO tell what is really happening.

Buy a set of encyclopedias from before 1950, the older the better.
Go to used book sales.
