this can't really be faked, there is publicly available real time data on solar activity that reputable space weather channels use for reliable predicitons and analysis.
As far as prior cause of the event, there is evidence for sympathetic resonance between solar and planetary bodies where activity of the ones influence the other and vice versa. This is a component of the Electric Universe Theory.
You mean like an election can't be faked? How about a world war (or two)? How about a 50 year "Cold War," where no one was ever in any real danger of dying to a "nuclear holocaust," but the entire world believed it daily? How about a pandemic?
...
If you own all forms of media including science centers or "space weather channels", plus you control the narrative, you can turn a normal solar flare (which happen all the time) into a world ending event, just like you can turn some thermite and a couple remote control airplanes into a war by spinning the truth with the narrative overlay. A few hours of media fuckery and you can turn that war into two decades of oil and opium production pretending the whole time, "we just can't win this war," with the added bonus of getting the citizens so afraid you are able to pass a law that makes it legal to spy on, and remove inalienable rights from every American citizen 24/7/forever.
Never assume anything can't be faked. I'd say faking a internet killing solar flare is probably about a 2 out of 10 difficulty on the fake o' meter.
WHATEVER the scope its a fake. They have been predicting it. That is complete and total bullshit. You can't predict things like that. Its just not possible. Such a CME would have to be huge, and would have to be directed at Earth. You can't predict shit like that. That's like predicting where lightning will strike without a thunderstorm or a lightning rod in the middle of a dirt plain.
It would not "destroy everything." A solar EMP will kill any electronics hooked up to the electrical grid, or the telephone lines, or to TV cables, or to an outside antenna. Think long wires. Any devices you own that are not hooked up to anything will be safe from a solar EMP. Of course, many of those devices will be useless, as the services are connected and will be screwed.
On the other hand, a nuclear EMP will kill portable devices as well as the connected devices.
In any case, people need spares that are disconnected and stored in Faraday cages.
Even if most services are destroyed, surviving devices still have many uses.
So using my desktop pc as an example, if it's plugged into a power board, does it run the risk of being destroyed in such an event? Does a surge protection board help?
I have seen several reasonable accounts and some very convincing evidence that suggest that the Twin Towers were planes (remote controlled gray Air Force) and the Pentagon was a missile. The Penn crash was, literally, a bunch of hot air.
If you have good evidence that the Twin Towers were missiles (or bombs) I would be happy to look at it. The best I have been able to piece together is remote control planes.

1 really.
Only cause turning everything off is a pain, you have to make a few phone calls, coffee, calls, potty break, coffee.
Photoshop steal some stock images....eh, they won't notice brick pattern on the sun mural we took a picture of, ppl r dum! Lolz.
An internet destroying flare would kill more than the internet, it would destroy everything.
If only the internet goes off its a fake. I hope it is, another Carrington event would be the end of us.

Probably missiles, not remote controlled planes.

Our health officials were "reputable" once.
NASA fucks with the solar telemetry all the time. They are fully controlled by the DS.
They faked 9-11 and COVID so ... (meaning, they modified the narrative)
