This is unlike me, but I am a little down today. After rallying for months to inform and educate my closest cohorts that were originally Big Fat No's on the jab, this all feels like a major defeat. Some I talk to don't want to be subject to weekly tests if seeking an exemption and others just think it will be easier in the end. A question was brought up today during a staff meeting about boosters and if those will come into play. Management's delayed response spoke volumes citing "that isn't decided yet" which means it's being discussed.
In a town of shady dealers and sellouts, how does one fight City Hall and win? My husband and I are both faced with this predicament with two littles to tend to. I really hope you have advice for those of us near the edge of that cliff as we are running out of time.
Signed,
Anxious, Fed-up, and Thinking About Having a Beer
Drinking will not help. Stay strong in the Lord. Know that you’re never alone. We will get through this. God will always see you through it if you’ll just stay faithful to Him.
I already feel better. Thank you.
Why ? Those words don’t pay rent or mortgage, or buy food, or pay for health insurance.
My company just mandated today, we have four little ones, and we both work there.
Sorry, down myself.
I feel for you. Sounds like we are in the same situation, just with 2 less mouths to feed. We have all of our eggs in one basket and have been waiting since Sept. 9th for the hammer to drop. We are both going to try for exemptions, although hub may play chicken and submit nothing to see if they will really fire him.
Also, regarding comfort, the words came from someone who cared enough to respond to my momentary grief and I am grateful for that.
It might seem like life would be easier by just taking the vax but it will not stop there. How easy will life be if you have enlarged/inflamed heart or blood clots or stroke of nervous disorders or any of the horrific side effects that have been reported? You can't sue for damages either. Something to think about while we have that beer ;-)
Yes, you are so right. Without sharing too many personal details, I was diagnosed at 30 with two forms of tachycardia, both have been affected by all injections I've had since - including corticosteroids and novocaine. After passing out in Urgent Care from a steroid shot three years ago and waking to a 200 bpm heart rate, I vowed to never get another injection again. There is no way on Earth I will subject myself to increased risk of these events, especially after watching Tiffany Dover's experience. I will probably submit both exemptions, but it is all so violating and humiliating. Mama's mad.
I know it seems difficult to change jobs, move somewhere else but do consider what we know about the jab and the tyranny that follows. Once you do the jab you will have to continue with the booster. I have moved on a whim and it’s kinda fun. We are so use to staying in one place and being comfortable with it. There is a whole big world out there to explore. Don’t let a job make a life decision for you and your family. Everything will work out….don’t doom and gloom. Good luck
No vax, no beer!! Stay strong. Hold the line.
Matthew 6:25-34 has always comforted me when faced with seemingly insurmountable odds.
Matthew 6:25-34 King James Version 25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?
27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?
28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:
29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.
30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.
33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
Your post is comforting. Thank you.
....I hate bringing this up, but if you aren't willing to be fired....100 bucks can go a long way.
I get what your throwing down. 😏
I just found this today. It might help:

Thank you. The outpouring of support on here is truly legit.

This article is the truth! Great share, thank you.
"You have the high ground, morally and legally. Just because they are doing a bunch of lawless stuff, fast, doesn’t mean there won’t eventually be justice. Why do I say that? Not only is what they’re doing patently unconstitutional, but they are dumb, deluded, and desperate. Desperate because they are doing all this in such a hurry to stay away from the courts. And when you do things in a hurry, you make mistakes. They are going to make a LOT of mistakes."

Your assessment of my angst is correct: uncertainty is my Achille's heel. For 16 years I've been loyal, although uncomfortably complacent due to increased woke policies, and am just feeling incredible betrayal right now - like a punch to the gut. I should've prepared a long time ago, but hindsight is 20/20.I love the idea of an extreme purge and organization event. If we have to downsize, we would live in a Silver Bullet somewhere in the hills. Thanks for the thoughtful encouragement. 😊
Having multiple plans is the way to go as you outlined. OP don't be caught flat footed as that is how they coerce people into bad decisions.
mandates, not madates! I wish we could edit titles! Ugggg. I am not good at typing on a phone.. sigh
So that's how one gets bold green words. Don't mind me, inner dialogue moment.
There was a time when we were at the brink, then just in the nick of time God opened a door. Of course we were busy knocking where we could, if you get my drift.
