When talking about an unvaxxed co-worker who was home sick in bed with covid, my supervisor said, "I have no sympathy for her. She should have gotten vaxxed." When I said lots of jabbed people were getting covid, she told me that was untrue and a conspiracy theory. As much as many are waking up, there are clearly those who aren't and won't.

That's a hostile work environment with unconstitutional discrimination based on medical and mental status.
☝☝☝
In some workplaces, it's known by all who's vaxxed and who's not. People have been discussing everything COVID relentlessly since it started and many openly discuss their vax status. Also, some workplaces mandate masks for the unvaxxed and let the vaxxed go unmasked, so it's often visually clear who's who - though of course, some of the vaxxed wear masks anyway.
A boss can't say they hope (protected person) dies because (protected status identity behavior). It's hostile and discrimination and harassment and basic corporate policy for like 60 years
Let’s not put words that aren’t there, she didn’t say that. OP said she said she has no sympathy for the sick coworker and that they shouldve gotten vaxxed.
I have no sympathy for Collin and I nor Trump should get punished for saying that.
By saying you have no sympathy for someone, thats hard to argue that it is harrasment, discrimination, or a hostile working environment, as sympathy is not owed to anyone….
I thought it said "good." My mistake musta read into it
Horsefeathers, even 'bosses' are entitled to their opinions.

Sure, a company can fire you for no reason at all, but it still doesn't make that a hostile work environment, and it still doesn't make it discrimination.
Sheesh.

Used to work in human resources and I can tell you that within large corporations what she did there was absolutely a "fireable" offense. That kind of thing is way over the threshold.
You can't voice that opinion at work in America if it's about a protected class. Assuredly they already believe that very strongly
Horsefeathers, why do people insist on being slaves?
Of course you can voice your opinions regardless of the subject matter.
If people will simply quit being afraid they can know Freedom.

I wish Groucho were alive so I could hear his opinions.
LOL. Great meme, fren!
Neither being sick nor vaccination status are protected classes.
Well as far as they know the objection is religious and also aids shit is, it's the same class as that. Pregnancy is like it. Same.
