Just being technical here, JKD was Bruce Lee’s art style. Which included some of the best of many varieties of martial arts. The ones they, China, despised were the shaolin art taught. They saw him as a disgrace when he started teaching any of their ancient arts to non worthy. From what I read kinda stuff. But basically what your saying is the same thing. Bruce seemed like a good guy.

I also heard that the powers that be in China did not like the fact that Bruce Lee was teaching Jeet Kune Do to non-Chinese (aka Americans).
