Presuming that the gun used was (or at least based on) a Colt SAA or a Smith & Wesson Model 3, could the ammo caliber used by both these guns be able to pierce someone's body and hit a second person with enough force to gravely injure another like what ended up happening ?

If it’s a .45 colt single action army with hard cast lead, without a doubt it can go through and through. Maybe even take some bone fragments with it. Lead pills penetrate rather well.
Ladies and Gentleman... here begins 'Magic Bullet 2.0' theory.
It probably missed all the bones and she looks to be pretty petite so it wouldn’t have had much to pass through. No one that I know of has mentioned how far away he was but I imagine it was likely fairly close.

Yes.
One shot two kills.
Sure its possible. A lot depends on the caliber, bullet weight, and bullet design.
I don't know the specifics of the gun, but if it was a 45 as someone suggested with live ammo weights in the 200 plus grains on many 45 cal bullets I'd have to say yes it can. As someone pointed out the area struck on the first person will also be a factor in the penetration to another target.
Yes Those old guns fire lead projectiles, not hollowpoints. Lead balls and bullets don't deform like a hollowpoint going thru soft tissue so if it didn't squarely hit bones, it may well have gone thru.
Would have to pass thru without hitting bone. Also depends on bullet type, FMJ=yes, deep HP=hell no.
Because 2 shots is no accident. I don’t think anything about Alec Baldwin is above board.
Pretty much any caliber bullet can theoretically pass through a person at close enough range, and if it hits just right. There are lots of exceptions though, depending on the specific bullet, and how much powder it has.
Do we know if it was live bullets in the gun? Just read the strangest article from the The Daily Mail about it it sounds like it was a complete shit show on that set
I remember the Brandon Lee incident. Blanks can only kill you if you fire basically while pressing the gun at the target. The news I got is that one shot pierced and killed one of the victims and hit the other who was standing behind with enough force to gravely injure her.
A blank can do that? Go through one person and hit another?
Absolutely not. The blast from the blank killed Brandon Lee because the gun was basically pressed against him, which wasn't the case with Baldwin.
45 cal is pretty heavy and slow so i would say no.
Terrible to say but...ask Ashley Babbit.
