My wife and I are not employed, so we are not directly affected by the injection mandates for employees. We've become aware of many people in our small town that were AGAINST the jabs and were steadfastly rejecting any such demands. Now, push is coming to shove, and it is disheartening to see people that seemed so full of integrity caving in with pathetic little whimpers of excuses.
I feel unable to criticize them because of my position but they fail to see that my wife and I made huge sacrifices years ago so that we'd be better able to resist something like this. We live offgrid in a glorified tent. We gave up our vehicles and licenses. We poop in buckets. We haul all our water in buckets (different buckets). We go without a lot of luxuries and conveniences so that we can be closer to freedom. I feel like we are looked at with scorn because of our seemingly "comfortable" position right now, but we were pitied not long ago because of what they perceived as our "poverty".
It is painful to watch as people trade away their dignity in exchange for the things they consider necessities. What could be more necessary than your dignity?!
This life is all about the choices we make.
Sadly, many people choose to prioritize money and perceived safety over everything else.
Consequences cannot be avoided.

PERMIES!
I'll bet you could put that in a personal ad and find somebody.
Indian Proverb - "The richest man is the one that desires the least"
At least as the situation is now (while there are still options: it has become a dividing point for those opposed to the mandates.
Some are finding their strength and standing for their beliefs, often finding better jobs elsewehere or at least renewing their sense of self-worth. Others are caving, making excuses and ultimately showing how they would react when met with tyranny face to face.
Again, this is not a blanket statement and it reflects this current time, but it is a generally accurate narrative within the situation we find ourselves. Many value comfort over freedom.
Yup ! Comfort sold cheap at a camp with a fence down the road by the industrial park.
And keep in mind friends.
Taking the first rounds of jabs isn't the main fight.
What will these same people do. When they are told they have to keep doing it for life!!!
That's a completely different story for most people.
I know tons of people who had no problem with the opening rounds. But telling them they need a booster over and over again.
That's when they have something to think about.
You're rocking it and leading by example. I'm sure you're enjoying having been so thoughtful about lifestyle changes you've made.
As im sure you know, they've got the 'average Joe' intentionally placed in a position where they are vulnerable to the feeling that the rug may get pulled out from under them and they will lose control of their lives. I can understand that feeling, but am learning to have faith, trust my gut, and take one day at a time. I'm reaching out to my husband for support and it's being met with understanding and agreement and I'm SO grateful. Maybe, perhaps too, people don't have a relationship with their spouse they can count on and are feeling a lot disconnect there.....
May they find the strength and resolve to live honestly with themselves in their lives🙏
I have till dec 8th. Ill turn in my exemption but already looking for another job. Maybe in NH maybe here. Maybe Montana. Who knows
As far as caving to a company. I suggest look at the route of the economy. Is it worth taking a experimental gene therapy when who knows what happening with shortages higher taxes inflation,( inflation hits companies as well ,) Your company ,my company and many companies may end up downsizing packing up and moving or just close up. . They "predict " once all this damage we have done to our economy hits it will make 2008 look like a good time
Curious about your lifestyle. Why do you have internet access? You are still plugged into the grid, and your behavior is still being monitored 24/7. Cell phones are even worse. I find it strange that you're pooping in buckets and hauling water around manually but you still keep social media at hand.
We have interwebs access through an iphone. We went 5 years without, relying on library connections to stay in touch with the world. My wife was given a phone in order to help start up a pub just before this nonsense began. I don't like it, but I want to be able to watch the world imploding.
Bravo and thank you for your service
I think it was someone here that linked this clip

You cant be forced and coerced if you have the wisdom to not present any vector for attack, any vulnerabilities. Simple and humble liberty and health is worlds above people who take that monkey on their back.. because it is wicked and tenacious and will not let go.
I think the rage that the vaxed show so openly is largely because they know on some level that they are trapped in hell by their own choices.. and the view of people looking down at them from paradise with empathy is a reminder that they cant stand.
You might like the work of James C. Scott. His book "The Art of Not Being Governed" is eye-opening and makes our situation easier to comprehend. Also, Dr. Chris Ryan's book "Civilized to Death". https://thegoodliferevival.com/podcast/52
I love how you clarify "different buckets."
Yep. Lesson learned.
Imagine looking at someone who shits in a bucket with scorn.
I am in the same boat to some extent. I still live in civilization, but I made wise financial decisions to weather the storm. Never touched debt. Made smart investments (except DWAC - had to sit there and watch the moonshot due brokerage fuckery). Can it last forever? No. Eventually I'll have to hustle again. Tying to decide whether to hibernate through the storm as long as possible or inject capital into my own business. I'm no prepper though and I will probably cave if they make it impossible to get food. Money is no good if you need a vaccine passport to buy anything.
A lot of people are living on the edge with a lot of debt. They cave because they have locked themselves into pay check to paycheck. Many don't even have an emergency fund of 6 months of living expenses to see them through hardship. Although I must admit, we are almost two years into this, so I have massive respect for those that got fucked at the start and have already burned through their savings.
I've been slowly burning through savings in a race to get food production in place and a long-term sustainable home built.
Yes, hard to be too harsh on folks making the vaxx choice, I see it around me too. I am retired so I have time to hang out in truther places and learn the 'back story'. I pass on the cautions to my younger relatives but they don't have time, or don't take the time they have, to research, but often just try to make ends meet. One daughter with TDS got vaxxed, would never admit any reactions to me after i cautioned her against it. It's a choice with both physical and spiritual implications. So many 'miss' the implications.
My company hasn't said a word about the mandates! Which is driving me nuts.
I was expecting them to say something by now.
I heard they were talking about it. But never heard anything at all.
What the hell are they doing!
Hopefully they are realizing the trickery behind it and trying to avoid it altogether. I hope they never push it on you.
I am just wondering out of no where. Are they going to say we have to do it.
That's why they need to at least say something now. So people can think about their options.
Them being silent on it. That's a problem.
What did you think was going to happen? People are STILL wearing masks, fergodsakes.
