Lots of scam coins out there, but there are many good, legit ones that have been audited and do hundreds of million transactions a day.
I'm biased. I own crypto. I love the decentralization and the yields. You don't have to day trade with crypto, you can simply hold your money in certain stable coins and earn 20% APY. What's a good yield for stocks, 7-8%?

I 'member when someone made that Coronavius Coin. They minted a number of coins equal to the global population and they would burn a token for each Covid death in the world. Someone should do another version for vaccinated deaths to wake people up about their danger, the only thing is that info is totally skewed. We won't know true numbers until we have the yearly mortality rate for the world for this year.

Well, i'm not really sure if this coin is anonymous i.e. private blockchain vs public blockchain. Unlike Bitcoin which can be tainted and confiscated by an exchange (I hear).
