Ever read about the people in the bible or history and wonder where they found the strength? Well look in the mirror, cause we've been called to be those people.
You folks are nothing compared to the Lord or His true followers and you lack the faith once delivered to the saints. Such audacity. Still sinning as you go along.
The people in the Bible were given strength because they were already His Chosen or turned back to Him (Samson, Peter). All that you have is a facsimile of the true God and your Sunday hirelings who delight in deceiving you.
If you want to call yourself a red-blooded American Patriot, I'll agree with you. High five, open a Bud Light. 'Murica! But don't you ever compare yourselves to Biblical believers. It damn near borders on blasphemy.
They were individuals that the Lord chose, not pretenders who thought too highly of themselves. Yes, they were human, but the Lord kept them and the ones that were true obeyed Him.
I'm not a Christian but I used to be and I wouldn't be the first to come here and mock the blatant contradiction and malpractice surrounding your belief system. Even those in the world can smell the bullshit.
Smite you? You misunderstand my intentions here. You and your cohorts have already condemned yourselves but I'm not interested in convincing anyone either.
Another difference is that these Biblical characters took action. They didn't sit in their recliners and bitch constantly about the world's state of affairs while doing nothing. Reproving the works of darkness isn't a passive thing and Moses wasn't about to set up camp and chill while his people were enslaved.
We're all sinners Jesus came to save. There is sort of a collective group thing going on there. Besides, Paul compared himself to us... so... we don't have to compare because he's authoritatively claimed to be the worst. God used Paul just a little, as the worst sinner, so God can use any or all of us.
I Timothy 1:15 The saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am the foremost.
You're right, God does use the imperfect but those imperfect vessels were chosen. They didn't get brought in by spiritual coercion, altar calls, religious ministries and those who didn't fall away kept His law. You people have no use for such things, not even being able (or willing) to honor a single commandment unless convenient.
What gives me the right to judge?
God can speak through anyone He so chooses, sinner or saint, to make any declaration.
I do not falsely take the name of Christ upon myself. I am not a Christian. I don't go to church and play pretend. I can judge because I'm not guilty or involved in what you're doing.
I speak the truth. If the Lord wishes to hold me accountable for that, so be it.
I've been on both sides of the fence. I know the Scriptures as well as the ins and outs of nominal Christianity along with the falsehoods that you've been brainwashed to believe.
Consider what God said to Job (38:2): “Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge? Seriously not Biblically informed or representing God there. Biblical believers were children of Adam and God and they knew it and wrote about it and sought and relied on Him for victory. The farther a mind wanders from a little truth the more it posts stupid crap condemning everyone else. Pray for strength and stand fren.

A bit preachy
Ignore him - he's stoned
I'm stoned and disagree with him
You obviously need it.
I hereby compare myself to Biblical believers. (They are human beings, and so am I, after all...all of us created in the image of God. :)
Now what? Please don't smite me

Who are you to judge the people on this board? Furthermore, God uses the imperfect. How dare you!

Why are some Catholics like this?
Who is a Catholic here? They're even worse offenders.
You take too much liberty with my words.
