Nope. The JD is going to recommend a light sentence. This is terrible, but really it is incumbent upon her employer to make sure she's doing her job. Checks and balances, etc. Terrible story.

reminds me of the cheap WW2 transports who's backs would break under harsh waves. cheaply made = quick to sink
Liberty cargo ships were pumped out at 3 per day at the height of production during WW2. They were know to break in half during harsh storms of the frigid North Atlantic due to the low quality steel used in their hulls.
Were they welded construction? A welded hull can crack and the crack can propagate without limit. A riveted hull could stop the crack at a rivet.
While annoying, you are right. You kill this bitch with firing squad then simply expect the next person or persons thereafter to be forever perfect and loyal? Stupid system, everything like that should be triple checked.
