Good lord, that clip of Kyle breaking down and basically having a panic attack reliving the events of that night, that had me in tears. This boy should have never been pressed with charges. This boy should NOT be sent to prison. I can't imagine all the stress that he's gone through over this past year since the incident and it all just comes crashing down on him.
God bless him and protect him!
This is what PTSD looks like, try as he might he could not control his emotions, it'll come from him knowing he shot and killed, correctly in defence of his own life, it still doesn't make it go away.
He was forced to take lives, because of the actions of others, it still doesn't make it easy knowing it was the right thing and only thing he could do.
Somebody on Youtube posted a comment like this: “He genuinely feels bad about hurting someone who was trying to kill him.”
That's how you know this kid was not out there to "hunt" or "out for blood" or "stalking" the pedo or the other felons. He was there to protect and then HE is the one who gets stalked and hunted and attacked. That's how we know this kid is INNOCENT. He feels BAD about having to shoot his attackers!
Yes you are correct in what you say, and the PTSD he is suffering shows it. God bless the young man.
i cold totally live with killing a peado and wife beating thug. wouldnt lose any sleep over it at all
It's easy to say things like this beforehand.
Crossing that line changes you. Part of you dies, too.
Yes you would think so and many would agree possibly. Personally if someone is 100% guilty of abusing a child sexually or any type of abuse, they shouldn't be on this planet.
But also think about the fact that Kyle also feared for his life, and possibly faced death. The split second decision he had to make to take lives to defend his own will still weigh heavy, especially on a young man like Kyle.
He's probably crying because his mom is in the audience bawling her eyes out over what her son has gone through and is going through. The kid is a model citizen.
PTSD doesn't automatically mean tears? The fact that he tried very hard to continue talking, yet the emotion built more and more no matter how hard he tried to control it, I would bet he has and will have PTSD. Despite what many think, taking a life of another human, even if they are disgusting pedophiles or other evil types, still has an effect. Especially on a 17 yr old.
Kyle was faced with the decision, in a split second to either be attacked and possibly loose his life or take the life of his attackers. He choose correctly, testament to whoever trained him with firearms and the values he was bought up with. It still comes with a price.
None of us know why he's crying. I'd be willing to bet he's crying because of the legal fuckery that our corrupt system is throwing towards him more than he is upset about the incident itself. Again, only he really knows.
Point is, the incident itself isn't the only thing that he could be having issues over, and we shouldn't presume that's the reason for his issues.
