When I first saw this drop I went down so many rabbit holes...so much sauce in this post alone....😉

Nope this is not HHO. No electrical power is applied at all. This is not electrolysis . This is not using direct electric current to drive an otherwise non-spontaneous chemical reaction. Pretty sure it is a spontaneous chemical reaction since I just add the 3 ingredients, and never apply power to it.
I got the jist of that....
Still wondering what three chems and in what quantity each....
This is what he taught me to use... also use caution.
Aluminum scrap, (industrial drain cleaner) sulfuric acid, diluted with water 50/50
When Aluminum metal reacts with diluted. sulfuric acid, it gives Hydrogen gas and Aluminum sulfate.
Reaction follows: Al + H2SO4 → Al2(SO4)3 + H2
Try it with Aluminum and diluted sulfuric acid(drain cleaner and water) in a test tube.
Bring a burning match near the test tube mouth. You can observe ‘pop’ sound. It confirms the liberation of H2 gas.
This pop sound is because of vigorous reaction between H2 and atmospheric oxygen to form H2O.
For the device itself. Made of Steel. I need to find my drawings and upload them someplace.
The mixing chamber, and connecting pipes and the gas chamber with its safety features, valves and such is not as easily explained... there is also the cleaning valves for removing the waste Aluminum sulfate.
WOW!!! Awesome.... I'll have to save this so I can try it later....
Every HS chemistry student knows this reaction as replacement of Hydrogen in an acid by a metal. It is a standard lab.
Aluminum sulfate is a salt thats soluble in water.
You can run this reaction with many metals and acids. They mostly produce salts that are water soluble. So what do you do with all that salty water?
put it on the icy roads........
