The FBI has been politicized since Hoover used it to spy on and blackmail congressmen. The FBI and every other unconstitutional alphabet agency is crooked, they were created outside the "supreme law of the land" for that very reason. FBI, BATF, IRS, Dept. of Education, Department of Energy, etc, etc...ad nauseam.

You do realize that the fact that these details are publicly available lends credence to the fact Hoover, like Nixon himself, were Clowns that eventually fell out of favor of other Clowns? They did not like Nixon opening up China, and thus destroyed him, the former Clown who carried 49 (!!!) states in his first election in no small part to the Clown apparatus itself.
The same applies to Bill Cosby. We only publicly know that he drug raped women, not because Cosby acted under Clown orders like he did his entire career, but because he suddenly didn't. In fact, Cosby was on Larry King shortly before the charges were made. Stating over and over "how stupid he is" and that he's made "mistakes in life". He was begging for the Clowns to not make an example out of him.
This doesn't represent Nixon and his times. He won his second election with all but Mass against McGovern, who was a full blown commie, based on the post 1950's definition of a commie. Nixon had actually made inroads with liberals because of his vietnamization policies and his opening the shut door with China was generally admired. Nonetheless, he was sincerely hated by the left probably because of his work with Joe McCarthy. He was never forgiven for bringing down LA commie (can't remember her name).
First election he ran an intelligent campaign based on a Southwest strategy. The south was all democrat. He was helped by the irony of Chicago democrat boss Dailey and the disastrous democrat convention. It was the hard left vs traditional liberals.
I don't think Nixon was deep state. He was a brilliant man with fatal flaws....a perfect Shakespeareian tragic figure.
