A friend of a friend who works at a grocery store was given notice that by December 23 if they don’t have at least their first jab then they need to be tested every week. The employees have to cough up $30 for the test. For full timers only. I know that many in retail live paycheck to paycheck and won’t be able to afford that extra $120 a month charge. This is all to force them into compliance or quoting. What an evil world we live in right now.

That is truly evil to force workers to fork over money for a scam test when they worked 20+ months through a "pandemic".

But I think this will kill most retail establishments trying to push this scam. For one, they are already having a hard time filling positions even with the holiday season approaching. And two, losing experienced retail staff will make it harder to train newcomers. And three, most high school kids will not put up with all this shenanigans and added cost for a weekend job.

That' exactly why a lawsuit is in order. The baseline has already been established from the year before, so know 'accommodation' for weekly testing is required.

Moreover, the two EO's signed are for federal workers and federal contractors. OSHA emergency guidelines are again for only Federal workers and contractors.

This is not for private sector.

I agree with this. This grocery store is struggling as it is. It is a red state so I’m pretty sure it will be boycotted. Especially since osha and that bull crap Hadn’t come down yet. Their doing it on their own. Once the truth comes out I imagine there will a ton of law suits.

You can file a false affidavit in court testifying that you either have been vaccinated or that you received a negative test result. This is impossible to rebut unless you admit that you lied.

I think you can just go to the court and tell the clerk you want to swear out an affidavit.

I've never heard of it. Are you referring to a notary public? Otherwise, on what basis would it be filed in a court?

Instead of providing your employer with a vaccine card, you give them a copy of your affidavit as "proof" of your compliance.

The affidavit won't be filed in court unless you get terminated. Then you file a lawsuit against your employer for firing you for being unjabbed or untested when it "isn't true", and your "proof" is your sworn affidavit. Your affidavit, of course, is perjured testimony, but since it's based off of your own first hand knowledge and nobody else's, it can't be rebutted even if it's an obvious, bald-faced lie.

Exactly. Except every lending institution has a notary public and it is always attested to by a witness. The notary is this witness. I don't have to go to a clerk of the court. Albeit, that's another source.

Thanks anyway. I already have a good grasp on this. I've done this before with clerks of courts and lending institutions. All one needs is a the State certified witness and their seal. A lending business has this as well.

I think your reasoning is flawed as how significant this is. It's only a notorized witness. Anyone can do this. It does not stand as some overriding law or exemption from an EO. There's other mechanisms for this.

I disagree, it is more than simply a notarized witness. It is a sworn statement under oath establishing a set of facts.

Think about it this way. What if you are double jabbed but lost your vaccine card. What are you supposed to do? Get jabbed again? A person in that situation would absolutely be able to file an affidavit attesting to the truth of those facts and I can't see how an employer would have any legal grounds to terminate them. You were fired not because you were out of compliance with the companies mandate but because you lost your vaccine card? That would put a company on shaky legal ground in my opinion.

To be clear, I'm not saying this will get you an exemption or override the mandate. I'm saying it's a catch-22 where you can lie about your vaccine status and can't be challenged on it, and anyone who tried could (probably) be sued under a variety of legal theories.

I think this is a cowardly way to try to keep your job, but I think it might be a great way to set a company up for a lawsuit, and I think it's time to get very aggressive with any private entity who tries to enforce the Mark of the Beast. We are in a 4th generational war, and any trick or tactic we can use to damage our opponents or their minions should be employed.

I would just make copies of the test and hand them the copies every week, and deliberately scribble a new date in poor handwriting over the date on the results.
