Important video. We all know this, but it's good for everyone (myself included) to get this kind of affirmation from someone who speaks from a position of experience. Fear is our greatest enemy and our enemy's greatest weapon.
Fear does terrible things to the human brain. Critical thinking shuts down, we become vulnerable to impulse and emotion. The people of this board are good people who love and care about their families, friends and pets. Consequently, banishing fear is impossible when those people are threatened. But we can control it and everyone that regularly reads and contributes to this board is an example of a human being who wrestled that fear into submission and continues to do so on a daily basis.
We've climbed that mountain. But the biggest challenge we have is convincing the rest of the population to stop giving into that fear. We can cite facts, data and studies to illustrate our position on subjects like the poison being injected into millions of veins. But until the recipients of that data have conquered their fear, they won't listen.
My parents both took the jab out of fear. My father is terrified of death and so he took the booster. I've talked to them about fear and what it does to the human brain far more often than I've shown them data. Thankfully my mother eventually conquered her fear and she will not be taking any more boosters. But every day parents are having their children get this damned shot because fear has destroyed their ability to be good parents.
I apologize for rambling, everyone. I'm very passionate about this subject because I have emphatically believed that this is what we must focus on. Common sense will return when people can conquer their fear.
Ramble on if you need to fren, we are here to support and encourage one another.. I lost my fear of death after I got saved and really came to know God the Father. Maybe your parents need to as well.
Thank you, Undine. My father is a.... complicated man. He's a man who has attended church every Sunday for as many years as I can remember (I'm 47), but as we all know, faith is more than about just showing up to church.
I know that life does not end when my body dies. But I don't believe my father has the same understanding. I wish I could give him that knowledge and comfort, but faith comes from within.
Thankfully, my mother does not have the same fear and lack of faith. it was that faith that I believe allowed her to get her fear under control and listen.
Pray for God's love and peace upon him; may he be strengthened in the inner man and for his faith and trust in God to grow. May he come to know the height, breath and length of God's love. Daily Bible reading helps, Bagster's Daily Light with morning and evening readings are wonderful :)
Yes, fear is what rules... we have been raised to fear everything. The powers that be raise up the fears and then calm them with their "solutions" it's 100% brainwashing, Stockholm syndrome inducing stuff
