There were a bunch of lawyers discussing the Sandman situation on a podcast I was listening to, and one of them said his lawyer, Lin Wood, advised Sandman to take the insurance companies offer of $50k. This would also be in line with Nicholas's statements after the trial.
No, I did my own research, I'll share what I said in another comment:
Have a look at the books yourself, Turner Broadcasting is a publicly traded company, you can pull up their finances and you can see that they, the owners of CNN, don't have a 200 million dollar line item anywhere. BUT, they do have a "General Legal Expense" line item that is $57,500 for around the same week the case was settled.
Assuming they only have one set of books and that it is public. I have seen companies that have two sets or more of books. One set for public eyes and one for private only. I have seen companies that also cook their books. Think insurance.
Not at all, they all sign documents to not talk about.

Because when you settle for an undisclosed amount, part of the agreement is to not disclose it. If either party disclosed the amount, the agreement becomes null and therefore Sandman wouldn't have his money.
only 60 mil? sandman got 200...he needs to go after more of them to make up lol
This is just one show. He is in his right to go after every show individually and rack up a paycheck from each.
Hopefully this is just the start and ends with a lawsuit thrown Biden's way
That would be a historic moment. A defamation suit against a president.

Pennies for them.
Sandman sued for over 200 million. They settled for an undisclosed amount.
If the amount was only 50,000 then why not broadcast it? Undisclosed tells me he got plenty.
