If we survive the current craziness and we get into an age of enlightenment, the next waive of difficultly for mankind will be dealing true history of this planet. This will challenge peoples religions, core beliefs and understanding of ourselves as a specie.
Funny, my search for real history led me to everything else ~25 years ago. Almost feels like yesterday, but the last few years feels like a century.
I would like to think most of documented history is accurate. While we are on this subject: this is one of the top reasons to keep fighting. If we let them write history and erase the past then it could mean all suffering and sacrifice in the past was in vain.
When you're on your death bed wouldn't you want to say you did more for the future than sitting around watching the playoffs?

The countries that win the wars get to dictate how it started, was fought and ended.
At this point, I'm just assuming the 80/20 rule applies, in the top-heavy orientation:
80% of what we know has been manipulated beyond recognition, or utterly fabricated.
The 20% is allowed to be just true enough that it props up the 80%.
