All false churches in the name of Christ will fall, including the ones that you're attending. How could you people be so daft as to believe that Christianity, as a whole, is somehow the only institution not corrupted by the deep state?
My guess, they just indiscriminately grabbed envelopes. The real question is why they wouldn't come back for them in all this time. Or perhaps they have been coming back, taking little by little.
If Joel Osteen wanted that money he would have just legally wrote himself the check. Don’t think he really cares what anyone thinks of him. Guessing someone thought to steal it and changed their mind.
When you read the article, you can see the mockingbird agenda in action. A non-biased, fact-based headline should read “Missing cash stolen during Lent was found hidden behind bathroom wall.” It was six years ago, and police interviewed everyone. I have a problem with mega churches too, but we have to be more discerning and not let headlines form our opinions before reading the story. “Drive-by headlines” discourage people from thinking for themselves and our side is just as guilty. We’re better than that.
I'll admit, I almost fell for this. The initial report of "envelopes of cash" stashed in the bathroom made my mind immediately turn to corruption. The fact that there were checks mixed in, which are dated, thus pinpointing when the crime occurred, and now worthless indicates that this wasn't some Machiavellian operation by someone in authority. It was probably some rando indiscriminately swiping envelopes.
Let’s put it this way. Do we honestly think Joel or his family or anyone he is directly responsible for (so, like... his family) is interested in a few hundred thousand dollars of checks that expired years ago? Clearly some bumbling idiot with no plan and kleptomania. Joel and his family are one with us, he’s human and does his best as best he knows how to serve humanity. Do not dishonor one of our own who’s managed to maintain a place of power in a world of true corruption - in this context, what they have built for us is a miracle beacon of positivity. It is truly saddening to see unwarranted hate towards our own, prompted by media slander. 💛
There’s even someone in here hating on his smile. lol. Incredible. Think & feel for yourselves.
As tempting as it may be to throw them under the bus, this is just a media smear piece using the one bullet (a .22 lol) they can find. I thought we all knew better by now but religion is something dear to many and easily becomes emotionally clouded, so I understand.
However, I would say most would be surprised how genuine and regular they are. They are so extremely ordinary INTERNALLY like us (are we really going to hate on personal book business success??). Just think people, he’s the face of positivity, encouragement, and pursuing a hopeful vision of the future. “Your best days are still to come!”. The church is one thing, the family is another, and this one-off theft from an idiot working alone (probably a contractor, churches that size have many many) is separate too.
It is a bit disconcerting to see our people readily attack someone who’s dedicated their adult life to elevating humanity above the mental & emotional mire of disempowerment.
FRENS.... PLEASE see how ludicrous this story is? Someone is going to stash cash and CHECKS in a bathroom wall at a church (the former COMPAQ Center) since 2014?!?!? Lot of good those checks will be. LOL!!!! Folks, JOEL OSTEEN is a man of God and his messages have blessed me and my family and brought us closer to GOD. Please do not speak evil of this man.
THANKS!
That's why he always has that shit eating grin on his face.

The Book of Thomas and the Book of Wars of the Lord are a couple I know of. My favorite is the MKJV but you won't find it in print....for good reason.
Why would anyone stash checks anywhere, when they need to be deposited or cashed within a certain amount of time to have any value?

False churches/pastors will fall with Mystery Babylon.

Wasn't Joel..... His wife! Lol
Slick tongues with false words
Who could have gotten to the money to steal it, but they are now dead?
