One of the things that made me realize Trump was the candidate I wanted for sure, out of the 17 or 18 choices, was when he went to the Republican convention in 2016 and NOT A SINGLE former republican president showed up. No republican presidential nominees showed up. Not even the republican governor (Kasich) of the state (OH) in which the convention was hosted bothered to show up.
I thought, holy shit! This really is a Big Club and Trump ain't in it! That's who I want!
Important correction: There was one, and only one, former republican presidential nominee that showed up to the Republican National Convention in 2016. His name was Bob Dole.
So I give Bob credit for that. I really do. Maybe he wasn't in the Big Club either? Who knows. Rest In Peace Bob. Thanks for supporting President Trump.
He probably switched sides. People don't seem to understand the guy is really really old. He comes from a completely different time. He may not have known a single thing about the pedophiles he was working next to. He definitely turned a blind eye to all the illegal things they did, but that was unfortunately normal for the time and he probably thought it wasn't worth going after. He was chosen because they knew the 1996 election was rigged against him, especially with Ross Perot splitting the vote. He did his best to get Reform party policies in place but ultimately it didn't matter because Bill Clinton had a lot of appeal and charm he didn't have.
As the casket was taken out, Lee Greenwood sang a song about going through the Storm (sorry don't know the exact name of the song), followed by the song God Bless the USA that we always hear at Pres Trump rallys.

I think the only thing I would be satisfied with right now is if the military came in and arrested every single politician and their staffers that run the show. All of them. Both houses. Both parties. Arrest them all and sort it out at that point.
Surely not every single one of them is guilty….but I’d want proof that they werent. Not constitutional but that isn’t a standard anymore apparently. It’s necessary.
They are public servants, not heroes or special, time to stop this expensive show every time one passed away. We all pay to bury our family members, let them do the same in private. They steal enough during their service and do little for the People.
