California is a deep red state. Always has been. In a fair election trump would have received 80-90% of the vote.
Mandates aren’t laws.
Why are we even arguing this?
"We" aren't, but the Karens and Darrens out there --are--. See, they aren't smart enough to pick up a law book and read that Mandates only apply, Lawfully, if given by a Judge to a convicted Felon. Any other "Mandate" by anyone else has zero weight, be they Mayor, state legislator, or even the fekkin President. They simply do not have the power to do so.
BUT...
The Karens and Darrens THINK it carries weight of Law because of how [they] are framing it, while [they] know full well enough stupid people will eat the shit sandwich being forced at them and not question a damned thing. Further, they'll decry you and I for NOT eating the shit sandwich because THEY had to eat it.

I’m looking for work and every employer is demanding vaccine cards. This is illegal. Where are the class action lawsuits?
Consider yourself very lucky. You wouldn’t want to work for any employer who hates their employees that much. Just hold out until you find the right one.

Moved a few years back, but born and raised in SD. The typical Californian stereotype people imagine is a real thing, but they were always the kind of people everybody I knew would ridicule.
Recently went back for the first time and was pleased with the interactions I had with people there.
