The family friends we usually celebrate xmas with had a close friend they were with 3 days prior test positive and come down w symptoms of covid (hope she gets better.) They are all double vaccinated and boosted. My entire family is too besides me. So they decided to cancel xmas even though they all supposedly have triple protection. Feelsbadman, to my family, if I bring up any basic facts they get mad and try to shut down the conversation immediately. My sister wants to change the subject to sports and I was like yah I'd root for Aaron Rodgers & Kyrie Irving. I asked them if they thought they were better qualified to make a decision about whats safe and healthy then the super bowl winning MVP and his staff... instant triggered and highly emotional response, no way to even have a normal conversation. Merry xmas y'all, feels awkward knowing the entire fam is brainwashed and under mass hypnosis

what im saying is its not a "breakthrough" infection. its an infection. they use the term breakthrough to downplay the fact that an infection occurred after vaccination - which is used to prevent infection (traditionally.) it diverts attention from the lack of protection to the patient/victim. stop shilling weirdo
I noticed watching Dopesick that they would use the term "Breakthrough Pain" when trying to handwave that people were needing to take more than original prescribed.

I gave all my warnings before and now I just wait, they always figure it out eventually and even if they don’t admit it they come around. Too late maybe but at least it was them who came around and I didn’t force their choice like others are doing.
