Maxwell was being used as leverage against them. She has the blackmail on all of them and would talk if given a guilty. Her verdict was delayed till after Christmas. The whole "Maxwell verdict" was a comm for the negotiations of their surrender to the the military.
They finally caved so Maxwell will likely be given a light sentence or a "not guilty". However that doesn't mean she is getting off. It just means punishment will be done off camera as part of the bargain and the royals will now help destroy the DS.

She was at the church service that QE2 opted out of, but I didn't read or see pics of her going to lunch at Windsor. I would hope out of the lot that she would be the good one.
