Amen!
im glad more people understand this
EXACTLY. I don’t want to be in a crowd of the jabbed anyway…not EVEN.
This statement is in direct contradiction to what the Bible says about God and about the Church (and spoken like an anti-Christian false religion Cabal follower of pantheistic spirituality).
(Hebrews 10: 24-25) And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.
(Eph. 5:25) Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her,
(Eph. 2:19-22) So then you are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.
(Eph. 5:29-30) For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, because we are members of his body.
The Church is the bride of Christ and awaits the marriage supper:
(Rev. 19:7-8) Let us rejoice and be glad and give him glory! For the wedding of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready. Fine linen, bright and clean, was given her to wear.”
Oh look points with glee another blind zealot who follows religious revisionism masquerading as a pious Christian belittling someone again on how un-Christian they are. Oh the irony.
You realize most of what you quoted was revised in the rewriting of those passages to favor the Roman Catholic Church run by the Vatican/Pope to make people believe you NEED a Church. It's how they got their power, money, and control.
Dig into the past. The origins. Only then will you understand the word of man has blinded you to the word of God.
With that, I leave you with this: Luke 17:20-21
God is within us, not an edifice.
The correct meaning and context of Luke 17:20-21:
Jesus’ answer was that the kingdom of God was not coming in the manner the Pharisees were expecting. The kingdom would not be inaugurated with spectacle or splendor; there would be no great and magnificent leader who staked out a geographical claim and routed the Romans; rather, the kingdom would come silently and unseen, much as leaven works in a batch of dough (see Matthew 13:33). In fact, Jesus says, the kingdom had already begun, right under the Pharisees’ noses. God was ruling in the hearts of some people, and the King Himself was standing among them, although the Pharisees were oblivious to that fact.

According to whom?
But in none of the verses you have above, is the church ever referred to as a building. Indeed churches in the new testament indicated an assemblage, gathering of Christians. The church at Corinth, the church at Ephesus did not refer to a building in those geographic location right? Paul was referring to the Christian believers as a body of people.
I believe that the gathering together of Christians is of vital important to the body of believers. I just don't think that entails build a huge building, and paying a guy who went to seminary a enormous salary, and a house on a gold course.
I don't condemn at all a man who earns his living as a preacher. I have to answer to God for myself. And others will be called to account for themselves. I do tend to believe that money has corrupted Christianity in America. But I know I must be concerned with the beam in my own eyes, but for I criticize the speck that had entered into the eye of Christianity as a whole.
Nobody argued that it was a building.
In Scripture, it is the assembly of like-minded believers for worship, teaching , giving and encouraging one another.
Nor did I claim that anyone was arguing that the church was a building. Sorry if you took it that way.
Thank you for feeding us with the Word. Those are excellent verses indeed. And the early Catholics handed us a magnificent canon of scripture.
But they don't prove your stated point. The Church is a spiritual structure built by God. It can't be defined physically or even socially. It excludes many false Catholics and includes many sincere strangers.
I'm currently asking God to protect us. The Holy Father in Rome doesn't seem inclined to say or do anything to help in our time of trouble. I just hope our beautiful Sistine Chapel survives the Communist/Islamist revolution. Papa Bergoglio has continually fanned the flames by pandering to malicious, unstable pseudo-Christians who never knew Jesus. I genuinely wonder how God will judge that self-absorbed, irreverent, attention-crazed transient.
The church universal is a spiritual structure; the local church (ekklesia - called out assembly) is a physical assembly of like-minded believers that meet regularly to worship, sing psalms, teach, give and encourage one another. The church was established in Acts 2 and continues through today.
Amazing how many people here downvote scripture. Really remarkable, isn’t it?
It isn't surprising. Many follow a politically-charged Jesus of their own making and not the real one.
Many make up their own theological beliefs instead of those contained in Scripture.
Very very true.
quran is scripture
Nope.
I'm guessing it was the cunty tone that brought in the down votes.
Lots of glow fags trying to sow division. Folks tend to not appreciate it. Fuck all y'all.
