Maybe the masked choose to mask out of fear. Our local grocery stores requests masks, 98% appear to comply. Not me. People are so brainwashed to think omicron is virulent and will kill them, but the majority either wear cloth masks or surgical masks below their nose, gaps on the side. Sheep!
I think in Florida now because of the "surge" of cases of Omicron, restaurant servers are back to wearing masks.
When I arrived in Florida about 10 days ago, everyone was maskless and now the servers at restaurants are back to wearing them, again.

Yes, I didn't say there is a law or mandate for them...just that in 10 days I noticed that no one had them when I arrived and the other day the wait staff at the restaurant were wearing them.

I’ve noticed certain areas (mostly larger cities) and chain-type restaurants have started using some again, you are correct. It’s really a shame that Mar-A-Lago is doing is too. I suppose it’s dependent on what their clientele wants, but I don’t like it…

I'm not a fan of this either, but with all the northeast people coming down for the Winter, I'm sure there were many who were sick and came and brought it with them to FL.
