No entity truly of the Divine would seek to be worshipped. (Not even Jesus.)
God seeks to be worshipped and obeyed, but He allows free will, even though it is often misused. Satan wants to take away free will and force everyone to worship him.
How much free will did Jonah have in regard to Ninevah?
How much free will did Saul (Paul) have on the road to Damascus?
What is meant by the term "kicking against the goads"?
What is free will in light of God's sovereignty?
“There is no wisdom, no insight, no plan that can succeed against the LORD” (Proverbs 21:30). “The Lord foils the plans of the nations [the wicked]; He thwarts the purposes of the [wicked] peoples. But the plans of the Lord stand firm forever, the purposes of His heart through all generations” (Ps. 33:10,11).
Interesting comment. I have always been averse to "worship" as used by the modern church. I would agree, it is not consistent at least with my conception of Christ, such an ideal archetype would not want you to waste time in so-called worship, surely. A better expression of respect would be emulation (as horribly flawed as that would be). I dunno, but I never liked the idea of worship, same reason I cant bear sportball chatter about athletes.
Most Christians really don't believe in the power of GOD. They hope nits true but never OPERATE it themselves.
The manifestations of spirit are real but left unoperated by 99 percent t of rhe Christians.
Paul said he thanked God he spoke in tongues more than anybody. Yet here we are enabled but unwilling to believe it's also part of our operation of the power of the indwelling gift of holy spirit. Preachers and teachers have failed miserably.
But muh spaceman theories abound by the spiritually weak and deceived.
Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9-11)
I knew a woman who was part of a UFO cult, whose home base was at Mount Shasta.
She claimed to work for the CIA. Her body was found riddled with bullets near the Mexico border some time later and she was carrying passports with multiple aliases. But then she somehow survived!
...I love this kind of stuff...
... and I think true. Knew an ex Ambassitor who literally went to worship an alien presence under Mount Shasta, he died there.
...not a great return on his investment....
I howled
doggy wink....
LOL!

The difference is this. God is Spirit, God is AGAPE Love.
Agape Love is unconditional love.
Agape Love gets "nothing" in return for Loving others. That is why it is unconditional.
Agape Love is the way, the truth, and the life.
That is what we are called to Worship.
Too keep it simple... Agape Love is Home.
Everything else is a form of worship of self.

Correct.

Wrong.
(Luke 4:8) And Jesus answered him, “It is written, “‘You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.’”

Weird times for sure.
Breath takingly weird times for sure. Hoping to make it to the other side.
John 14:6
I am the way, the truth and the light. No one comes to the Father but through me. (Jesus speaking)
Been watching (I Survived Beyond & Back) some very interesting stories of people who died & were forced to come back.
Mount Shasta is a thing in alien culture.
Mount Shasta has an underground base or portal entry…the Indigenous KNEW.
