The Kazahstan upheaval is also similar to what happened in Iraq a couple of years ago. Massive protests prompted the resignation of the parliament and Prime Minister (Mahdi), then a new president was appointed (Salih) who appointed an interim PM (Kadhimi), then two months ago their new parliament was elected. Next a permanent president will be elected. The whole process has taken almost three years.
Here's how the Kazahkstan situation is similar:

I've found a couple of reports where the Pys op unit is mentioned, I dug deep on this before along with the "White hats" in Syria which as that turns out was funded wholly by the UK Gov and ran by an ex Brit military guy who is now dead. The receipts for TV crews, equipment and people was leaked recently.
And have to go find it on my hard drives for more detail, but rest assured it was not a spontaneous action by a large crowd of Iraq's population, there were very few there. Selective photography made it seem so.
