My 84 y/o Mom just tested positive (with a home test). She lives with my sis and b-i-l so they will do what they can for her. Sis reached out to Mom's PCP and will ask about monoclonal antibodies. Sis will also reach out to Dr Mollie James to hopefully get the GOOD stuff (IVM, HCQ, etc).
Mom can be very stubborn but is a pure blood.
Your prayers would be welcome and very much appreciated. She seems fine, so I hope it is a mild case.
God Bless you all.
She'll be fine. Everyone is sick right now with the common cold/flu. God Bless you and your family and remember positive mindset and no stress
Thank you. I stress for my sis because she is taking care of both, Mom and her hubby.
Why did she test with a home kit? Was she sick? False positives are constant with these stupid fraudulent tests! CDC states you can show positive for up to 12 weeks after taking the test. They even said it can't accurately predict Covid, Cold, or Flu, so why would anyone take the test unless they're really sick and ready to goto the Hospital?
consider iodine nasal cleanse
Thank you. As I said, Mom is stubborn, and she doesn't like anything up her nose!!!! I don't think I could talk her into doing a nasal wash of any kind but I will keep that in mind. I tend to like Alkalol nasal rinse (it has natural ingredients) and talked other about it a while ago. Back than the answer was an adamant NO. She is stuborn!
and of course she is in my prayers. Stubborn is a very good trait to have. I lost my 98 yr old grandmother last year ( very stubborn bless her heart) do to a car accident. I am sure she messed up actuarial numbers.
Thank you. God Bless your grandmother for living such a long life.
Rinses are a little more intrusive, but maybe she would be open to at leas swabbing her nostrils.
Add a couple drops of iodine to a teaspoon of hydrogen peroxide. Dip a Q-tip into the solution and swab the nostrils.
You can do that a few times per day and it's very easy and non-invasive.
While you're at it, swab your ear canal as well.
Thank you for the advice.
Iodine is also recommended via nebulizing, which is a lot easier.
Thank you. That is what my sis and b-i-l used when they were sick in Oct 2020. Hopefully sis can get Mom to use it.
Seconded.
🙏Prayers coming your way! My husband and I just got over the Omni—so mild! We did take vitamins and I managed to get ivermectin today. We both had low grade fevers and it took about 4 days to get over. I hope your Mom gets over it quickly and easily!
Thank you, me too.
Start the Zelenko protocol: Vitamin C and D, zinc, quercitin, then ivermectin if you get it. Order food grade hydrogen peroxide, normal saline 3 ml. Ampoules, and nebulizer. Gargle with original Listerine mouth wash or food grade iodine to kill bacteria. Research the amounts on line for the nebulization and gargle. Zelenko’s protocol lists amounts to take. I am not a doctor, but many find the treatments helpful in avoiding the hospital. Many drug stores carry the food grade iodine and hydrogen peroxide and nebulizer. You might need to make your own normal saline, if they don’t have the ampoules. You can get a needle less syringe from the pharmacist.
Thank you. Mom started the Z-Stack just recently, but has always taken a multitude of vitamins. Sis and b-i-l have a neighbor who is into unltra-natural treatments and helped them get through the wuflu last year with a nebulizer. I'm sure they've reached out. I mentioned the gargling to sis.
I concur. I hope she would consider this as a regular preventative. Having pneumonia is not fun. Even plain or dilute H2O2 kills the germs in the nose and airways. Dr Levy's book recommends the nebulizer treatment 3-4 x a day for 10-15 min if early onset of symptoms, once for 2-3 min after possible exposure, or once a week for 2-3 min for prevention of respiratory viruses. Thank you.
When I gave my mom medicine, I had to keep in mind what she would be willing to do. Gave Ivermectin, NAC and Dr. Zelenko's Z stack.
Some are calling for mud-baths, coffee enemas, etc. She would never do that.
Thank you. At my Mom's age, changing her routine can be challenging so getting her to replace some of her vitamins, because they are in the Z-Stack, was a chore but she did it. I know Mom would ever do the nasal rinse, and the gargling is questionable, as recommended by others.
It was hard getting her to give up her D3 for the Z stack. This was the dialogue OVER and OVER:
Mom: I already take Vit D3.
Me: "You can stop that. The Z stack has Vit D3, plus Vit C, Quercetin and Zinc. This is what each one does:______________."
Mom: "I already take Magnesium." 😬
I don't think I would even do a coffee enema! ☕️ 😐
Sounds like a similar conversation but my tactic was reducing the amount of pills should would have to take, with the added benefit of quercitin and zinc. It was helpful to have sis and b-i-l on board to bolster my argument. I will not recommend the enema!
Prayers for your mom and for all who love and care for her,
Thank you.
What symptoms does she have currently? The home test kits (if it's anything like ours in my country) are notoriously crap. Go by the symptoms, a friends whole family just tested positive with nobody feeling the slightest bit unwell?
Thank you. She now has a low-grade fever but it was higher at the beginning of the week, a bit of a cough (tickle in the back of the throat type), bowel issue, and tiredness. That combination of symptoms was the impetus for the test.
Does anyone ever think they have a cold anymore? People have colds treat it like it's a cold! If it gets progressively worse then seek medical help from a trusted Doctor!
Thanks. This could very well be but fevers usually don't accompany a cold.
Well the nasal iodine will stop dead anything in the nose, try and gargle some as well for the throat. Decent vit D and lots of vit C. I'm sure she will be fine, try not to let her worry as that can add stress to the immune system as well. It could just be a common influenza/cold of course, despite nobody saying, they must also be around this time of year right.
Obviously none of this is medical advice and I certainly am not a Dr.
God Bless and prayers for her.
Thank you.
Please read my comments, there are several symptoms.
Fake test. Treat flu. God protect an ailing woman
Thank you, Yes, fake tests but she is positive with something. She's been prone to developing pneumonia in the past, which concerns us. I talked her into replacing her individual vitamins with Z-Stack, which she did just recently. She had a fever the other day but it has come down so hopefully the Z-Stack is doing the job.
Prayers for your mom. Sounds like you got her on the right stuff and if the fever is gone hopefully she is on the outs of it.
Thank you. I also hope she is on the back-side of whatever is going on.
Why take a test? Did she have symptoms? The at home tests are highly inaccurate.
Yes, she had a fever and bowel issues the other day, and a lower fever yesterday and today. Plus, my b-i-l, who also has symptoms, tested positive as well (although he had the wuflu last year).
God bless her. Glad that you’re looking out for her. Will pray.
Thank you.
She'll be in my prayers.
Thank you.
Prayers on the way.
Thank you.
