My favorite book series is Wheel of Time. It heavily touches on the theme on the feeling of going crazy during the end times, and wow how relevant that ended up becoming in our lifetime. Too bad Amazon is going full woke with the series that I've been waiting my whole life to see, so I'll have to skip so as not to ruin my memory of it.

No one will believe any of the data you show them, just as Yuri said it would be. Instead of even bothering, I just try to make them trust their eyes. If this pandemic were truly scary, would parents be bringing their kids out to indoor play areas or frozen yogurt or daycare? No. If it were truly scary and people actually knew real people who were getting sick and dying, everyone would be keeping their kids shut in. This just isn't the case though, even in the liberal cities. Joke that if you didn't watch the TV, you wouldn't even know there was a pandemic going on. Even the most diehard cultists awkwardly laugh in agreement. Finally I just try to point out how insane the coercion and restrictions of freedom are for something that everyone seems to realize isn't that scary, and that it might just be more about control than it is health. Unfortunately almost everyone I know still wrote me off as crazy and took the mark, but I've had success getting several to draw the line at the first booster at least, and once they're being coerced into taking more boosters past that, the seed has already been planted and they'll realize I was right the whole time. I wish I could have been more convincing earlier on, but everyone is like trapped under a damn spell.
