Another aspect of the swabs is the material itself acts similarly as asbestos does. 51.3 degrees Fahrenheit is the temp that ethylene oxide boils meaning to change from a liquid to a gaseous state. We are forced to wear direct from China masks all day, a specific mask for everyone in the several hundred employee clinic. I had trouble with the fuzz accumulation every day causing sinus infections. I was told to wear my own mask under the required mask. Instead, I turn it inside out, reinforce the edges with surgical tape and wear it full of gaps.
There have been a number of articles about toxic materials, often graphene nano-particles, in commercially available masks (most of which are from China). Heaven knows what's in any particular mask you might be given or purchase. For instance,

Costco purchase, but I should have looked before buying, made in China. I later cut the masks apart and placed fibers from the material under our microscope. Dark black fibers that actually moved by themselves were easily detected. I believe certain manufacturers have placed graphene fibers in the masks as another means to contaminate the lungs, respiratory system. Needless to say, these were thrown out and I avoid masking to avoid the plague.
The ones the stores hand out are the scratchiest, stiffest, cheapest junk. Maybe get you a cheap cotton fabric one for emergencies. Or maybe a friend who sews could make you one out of a nice, soft fabric.
I don't know what a buff is but if it works, great. I used to ice skate and sled like a fiend but I'm sure I'd have been declared a menace to myself and others on a snowboard. How about one of these?
Just say “NO” to masking. If it comes at the cost of touristing - so be it!
The brain and oral health both suffer with masking. The reduced oxygen is abuse, and bacterial pneumonia looms.

Why is it that the “help” wear masks, as their abusers prattle on mask-free? We see it at all their celebrity social events. They want to deface and disgrace all of us.
I reject this desire, with not the slighest inch of obedience, and so will you. No excuses.
