There is NO WAY he isn't a Fed. Question is, which part of the Fed apparatus does he work for? He could be a contractor for a "security" company contracted by the FBI, which would technically mean he's telling the truth.
Also, harder questions than this need to be asked of that man. Normal Congressional proceedings aren't enough when dealing with Clowns. There's plenty of evidence to have arrested him and detained him indefinitely for questioning just like the other 1/6 "conspirators." The fact that he hasn't even been inside a LEO office for questioning tells me all I need to know about his status. He's a protected asset. As such, it will be damn near impossible to hold him accountable under the current Federal apparatus.
